Indian Cookbook

In college, I designed a cookbook featuring easy-to-make Indian recipes inspired by my mom’s collection. Using Illustrator, I created detailed illustrations for the recipes, which was a rewarding yet patience-testing experience. The project also involved researching various cookbook layouts and understanding what makes them functional and visually appealing.

Beyond design, I delved into publishing and print, learning to identify the vital components of a cookbook. I even bound the book myself, gaining hands-on experience in bookbinding. This project was a fulfilling journey that combined design, illustration, and a love for food into a cohesive, practical creation.
